Hi! My name is Mrs. Caspari. I am a full time reading support teacher for Kindergarten and 1st grade.
I lead the intervention team, which includes several part-time and full-time staff members. I have been teaching since 1993, and teaching in District 23 since 1994. I have taught at Anne Sullivan School as well as Eisenhower School. I began as a classroom teacher in 3rd and 4th grade, before becoming a reading support teacher in 2001. I have 3 children and a West Highland terrier. It is my passion to work with young children, to see their excitement and sense of accomplishment as they master the art of reading! Hi! My name is Ms. Herzog. I am a full time reading support teacher for Kindergarten and 1st grade. I teach with the intervention team assisting students in reading and writing. I have been teaching since 2000 and have taught in District 23 since 2002. I began teaching 5th grade as a classroom teacher and in 2011, I became Eisenhower's Library Media Specialist. In 2021, I became one of Eisenhower's reading support teachers. As you can see from being Eisenhower's Library Media Specialist and now one of our Reading Support teachers, I value the love of reading. It is a joy to have the privilege of assisting students as they begin their own personal journey in building their own love of reading.
