At Eisenhower Elementary School, we have a team of teachers dedicated to providing support for all of our Kindergarten and first grade students as they develop early reading skills.
The Eisenhower Reading Support team supports students in the following ways:
•Classroom support: All classrooms have the support of an additional teacher during portions of their literacy instruction each week. This teacher co-teaches with the classroom teacher and works with small groups within the classroom.
•Small group/Individual Intervention: In addition to working with students in the classroom, we also provide intervention during designated intervention blocks for Kindergarten and 1st grade.
